First steps after you sign up
The five things to do in your first ten minutes with Tase: enable notifications, create a task, try voice, set a budget, and add a memory.
Tase is built to be useful immediately, but a few small setup steps in your first session make everything that follows smoother. Here is the short list of things worth doing right after you create your account.
Enable notifications
Notifications power task reminders, medication alerts, and budget updates. When the app asks, tap Allow. You can fine-tune which alerts you receive later under Settings, then Notifications.
Create your first task
Open the Tasks tab and tap the plus button. Type a quick task or say it out loud using the microphone icon. Assigning a due date and an optional reward helps Tase learn what matters to you.
Try voice mode
Tap the voice button on the main screen and speak naturally. You can ask Tase to create tasks, log an expense, or remind you about something later. Voice is the fastest way to capture anything in the moment.
Set a monthly budget
In the Finance tab, tap Set Budget and enter a monthly spending limit. Tase tracks expenses against it automatically once you start logging them.
Add a memory to the AI Brain
The AI Brain is your personal knowledge base. Tap the Brain tab and add a quick note, idea, or fact you want Tase to remember. Over time, the Brain makes every response more tailored to you.
Do I have to do all five steps?+
No. They are recommendations for getting the most out of Tase quickly. You can skip any of them and come back later; nothing is locked behind setup.
Will Tase learn my preferences automatically?+
Partially. The AI Brain extracts memories from your voice and chat conversations over time. Adding notes and ideas manually speeds up how quickly Tase feels personalized.
Where do I change appearance or dark mode?+
Open Settings, then Appearance. You can choose Light, Dark, or System. The change applies instantly across the whole app.
