How to cancel or downgrade your plan

Cancel anytime from Settings or the App Store. You keep premium features through the end of your current billing cycle.

You can cancel or downgrade at any time. Because Apple manages billing, cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current cycle. You keep every premium feature until your paid period ends.

Cancel from within Tase

  1. 1

    Open Settings

Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
  2. 2

    Tap Subscription

Your current plan and renewal date are shown at the top.
  3. 3

    Tap Manage in App Store

Tase hands off to the App Store subscriptions page. Tap Tase, then Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial).
  4. 4

    Confirm

Apple asks you to confirm. Once confirmed, your plan stays active until the end of the current cycle, then reverts to the free tier.

Downgrade from Max to Pro

If you are on Max and want Pro instead, follow the same steps but choose Pro instead of Cancel. The change takes effect at your next renewal date so you keep Max features for the rest of what you have already paid for.

What happens to my data?

Cancelling does not delete anything. Your tasks, budgets, notes, and memories stay in your account. Premium-only features simply become view-only or hidden until you resubscribe.
Will I get a refund for cancelling mid-cycle?+

Apple does not prorate cancellations. You keep full access through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then drop to the free tier.

How do I re-subscribe after cancelling?+

Open Settings, tap Subscription, and choose your plan again. Apple remembers your previous selection so it only takes a tap or two.

Where is my renewal date?+

Go to Settings, then Subscription. The renewal (or cancellation) date is listed under your current plan. The App Store subscriptions page shows the same date.
