How to set medication reminders
Never miss a dose. Add a medication in the Health tab, set the schedule, and Tase reminds you with the right dose at the right time.
A medication reminder only works if it fires at the right time and is easy to confirm. Tase lets you set flexible schedules, log each dose with one tap, and see a full history so you never wonder whether you already took something.
Add a medication
- 1
Open the Health tab
Tap Health in the bottom tab bar. - 2
Tap Medications
Select the Medications card from the health modules. - 3
Tap the plus button
Enter the medication name, dose amount, and unit (pill, mL, mg). - 4
Set the schedule
Choose how often: daily, specific days of the week, or custom intervals. Then set the time or times for each dose. - 5
Save
Tap Save. Tase sends a notification at each scheduled time. You can optionally allow a snooze window.
Confirm a dose
When a reminder fires, tap Take Now on the notification to log the dose. You can also open the Health tab and tap the checkmark next to the medication. Confirmed doses appear in your history with a timestamp.
Prevent double doses
Can I track supplements and vitamins too?+
Yes. Medications and supplements use the same system. Add a daily vitamin the same way you add a prescription, with its own schedule and dose.
What if I miss a dose?+
Tap Skip on the reminder or leave it unconfirmed. Tase logs the miss in your history so you can discuss adherence with your doctor. It does not send repeat notifications unless you set a snooze.
Will reminders work if my phone is on silent?+
Medication reminders are classified as time-sensitive notifications on iOS, so they can break through Focus and Do Not Disturb modes if you enable that in iOS Settings under Tase notifications.
