How to track a habit

Build streaks that stick. Create a habit, set how often, and check it off each day by voice or tap.

Habit tracking works because it makes consistency visible. Tase lets you define a habit, set how often you want to do it, and mark it done with a tap or by voice. A streak counter keeps you motivated, and a missed day does not erase your history.

Create a habit

  1. 1

    Open the Health tab

Tap Health in the bottom tab bar.
  2. 2

    Tap Habits

Select the Habits card from the health modules.
  3. 3

    Tap the plus button

Name the habit (for example, "Drink water" or "Read 10 pages") and optionally add a description.
  4. 4

    Set the frequency

Choose daily, specific days of the week, or a custom number of times per week. This determines when the habit appears on your list.
  5. 5

    Save

Tap Save. The habit appears on today's list and starts a streak at zero.

Mark a habit done

There are two ways to check off a habit. Tap the circle next to it in the Habits list, or use voice and say "I drank water today" or "Mark read as done." Both increment your streak.

Link habits to existing routines

The strongest habits piggyback on things you already do. Name your habit after the trigger: "Read after coffee" instead of just "Read." It helps you remember without the app.
What happens to my streak if I miss a day?+

Your streak resets to zero, but your full history stays. You can see how many times you completed the habit overall, so one missed day does not erase weeks of progress.

Can I get reminders for habits?+

Yes. When creating or editing a habit, toggle on Reminder and pick a time. Tase sends a notification at that time on days the habit is scheduled.

Is there a limit to how many habits I can track?+

Free accounts can track a handful of habits. Pro and Max remove the limit so you can manage an extensive routine without choosing which to drop.
