Where is my data stored?
Your Tase data lives in encrypted cloud storage with industry-standard security. You own it, you control it, and you can export or delete it anytime.
Your tasks, budgets, notes, memories, and health data are stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure using Google Firebase, the same platform trusted by millions of apps. Data is encrypted in transit (when moving between your device and the server) and at rest (while stored). You own everything you put into Tase and can export or delete it at any time.
What is stored and why
- Account data: Your email and sign-in method, so you can access your account across devices.
- Content: Tasks, goals, budgets, expenses, habits, and medications you create.
- AI Brain: Notes, ideas, knowledge, prompts, and memories, so responses stay personalized.
- Conversations: Chat and voice history, used to provide responses and extract memories.
Who can see it
Only you. Tase does not sell your data to third parties. Your content is not used to train public models. A small number of authorized Tase engineers can access data only for support purposes with your explicit request, and all access is logged.
Delete it all anytime
Is my data encrypted?+
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using Google Firebase encryption standards. Your password is never stored in plain text.
Does Tase share my data with advertisers?+
No. Tase does not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. The business model is subscriptions, not advertising.
Can I use Tase without cloud sync?+
Tase requires an account for sync and AI features. If you want a local-only experience, you can delete your data after use, but cloud sync is fundamental to how the app works.
