Capture a task by voice

Most tasks do not get forgotten because they are unimportant. They get forgotten because they show up at the wrong moment, when your hands are busy and opening a form feels like too much. Voice capture removes that step entirely: you speak a normal sentence, Tase turns it into a saved task with the right date.

The phrases Tase understands

Tase parses intent, not just keywords. That means you can speak the way you actually think. The examples below all produce a clean task with a date attached.

• "Remind me to call the dentist tomorrow."
• "Add buy printer paper to my list."
• "I need to send the invoice by Friday."
• "Move the car by 8 a.m. Tuesday for street cleaning."

Walkthrough: capture your first voice task

   Open Tase and tap the voice button

   On the main Tase tab, tap the microphone button near the input bar. The voice sphere animates when it is listening.

   Speak one task in a normal sentence

   Say something like "Remind me to water the plants tomorrow morning." Include the when if you can, but do not overthink it. Tase will fill in a reasonable default if you leave the date out.

   Let go and listen for the readback

   Tase reads the captured task back to you. This confirmation is your safety check that the date and wording are right.

   Fix it with your voice if needed

   If the date came out wrong, just say "Actually, move that to Wednesday." Tase updates the same task instead of creating a duplicate.

   Find it later in your task list

   Open the Tasks tab. The task appears with the due date you spoke, sorted into the right day.

Troubleshooting

If Tase seems to ignore a date, you may have spoken it ambiguously ("next week sometime"). Re-tap and say a concrete day instead, like "next Tuesday." If nothing is captured at all, check Settings to confirm microphone access is on for Tase.
