Connect your calendar and mail

Let Tase act on your calendar and inbox through connectors. This intermediate walkthrough covers what agents can do once mail and calendar are linked, and how to stay in control.

Tase becomes far more useful when it can see your calendar and your inbox. Once those are connected, the assistant can answer questions like "when is my next meeting with Maya" or "summarize the email from my landlord" without you switching apps.

How it stays private

Connectors read only what is needed to answer your request. You can disconnect any source at any time from settings, which revokes access immediately.

Walkthrough: link a source and ask a question

    Open Settings and find Connectors

    Go to Settings, then look for the Connectors or Integrations section. This is where calendar and mail sources are listed.

    Connect your calendar

    Tap the calendar option and sign in with the account you actually use for events. Grant the listed permissions. Tase lists exactly what it can read before you confirm.

    Connect your mail the same way

    Repeat the flow for mail. You can connect one account at a time, so start with the inbox you rely on most.

    Ask Tase a question that needs the data

    Return to the main chat and try something specific: "What do I have on my calendar tomorrow afternoon?" or "What did my landlord email me about last week?"

    Let the agent act, then review

    Tase pulls the relevant events or messages and answers in chat. For any action that would change something (replying, rescheduling), Tase shows you a draft to approve before it sends.

What agents can do once connected

  • Summarize a long email thread so you can decide if it needs a reply now.
  • Find a free slot on your calendar and draft a meeting proposal.
  • Remind you about an event details email the morning of the meeting.
  • Draft a reply in your voice, which you approve before it is sent.

Approve before anything sends

Tase does not send emails or move calendar events on its own. Anything that would reach another person shows up as a draft for you to approve, edit, or reject.

Disconnecting when you want to

If you ever want to revoke access, return to the same Connectors screen and tap disconnect. Tase drops the source immediately and will not read from it again. This is useful if you connected a test account and want to swap it for your real one.

The point of connectors is not to hand over control. It is to stop context-switching. Your assistant already knows your tasks, goals, and memories. Once it can also see your time and your inbox, the answers get noticeably sharper.
