AI Brain

Notes, ideas, knowledge and memories in one place that an assistant can actually reason over. Drop in a PDF or a link and Tase reads it and files what matters.

The Tase TeamTase LLC2 min read
  • Notes, Ideas, Knowledge, Prompts and Memories
  • Semantic search across everything you have ever told it
  • PDFs and URLs are read and filed automatically
  • Memories are extracted from conversations without you asking

A notes app stores text. It does not know what any of it means, which is why the note you need is always the one you cannot find, and why nothing you wrote down last year has ever changed an answer you got this year.

The second brain in Tase is storage the assistant can reason over. What goes in comes back out at the moment it is relevant, whether or not you remember it is there.

Five kinds of thing

  • Notes — what you wrote down
  • Ideas — the ones you want to come back to
  • Knowledge — reference material worth keeping
  • Prompts — the instructions you reuse
  • Memories — the durable facts about you

The split matters because they behave differently. A memory should quietly shape every answer. A note should surface when you ask for it. Keeping them apart is what stops the assistant either forgetting you or drowning you.

It fills itself in

Most of what ends up in your second brain gets there without you filing anything. Talk to Tase and the durable facts are extracted afterwards. Drop in a PDF or paste a URL and it reads the thing and keeps what is worth keeping.

Search is semantic, so you can ask for the idea rather than the words. You do not need to remember the phrasing you used at the time, which is the whole reason keyword search on your own notes has always been disappointing.

You can see and delete all of it

Everything extracted about you is visible, editable and individually deletable. A memory that is wrong is worse than no memory, so removing one takes a tap.

What you would actually use it for

  • Asking what you concluded last time you thought about a decision
  • Keeping a reference document somewhere an assistant will actually use it
  • Never re-explaining your training schedule, your diet, or your family
  • Finding the idea you had in March without remembering how you phrased it
Is my second brain used to train a model?+

No. It is your data, used to answer you.

What file types can it read?+

PDFs and web pages today, plus anything you type or say.

What if it remembers something wrong?+

Delete it. Memories are individually visible and removable, and the assistant stops using one the moment it is gone.

How much can I store?+

Storage is pooled per plan, and the app shows how much of yours is used.
