Voice AI Chat
Talk to Tase and it answers in real time, hands free. Ask a question, log a meal, add a task, or think out loud — and every session teaches it more about you.
- Sub-second responses in a continuous back-and-forth
- Every session extracts what matters into your second brain
- CarPlay and Bluetooth headsets for hands-free use
- Switch between voice and text inside the same conversation
Most assistants make you type. Typing is the reason the thing you meant to record never gets recorded — by the time you have unlocked the phone, found the app and picked the category, the moment has passed and the thought is gone.
Voice chat in Tase is built around that specific failure. You press once and talk normally. It answers while you are still driving, cooking or walking, and anything worth keeping is filed without you asking.
What it feels like
The conversation is continuous rather than turn-by-turn. You are not waiting for a spinner between sentences, and you can interrupt it the way you would interrupt a person. If you change your mind halfway through a sentence, say so — it follows.
You can start something by voice and finish it by typing. The conversation is one thread, not two, so there is no moment where you have to repeat yourself because you switched input.
It remembers, so you stop repeating yourself
The part that compounds is what happens after the conversation ends. Tase pulls the durable facts out of what you said — that you train on Tuesdays, that your mother's birthday is in March, that you are trying to cut caffeine after two — and files them in your second brain.
A week later you do not have to re-explain any of it. That is the difference between an assistant you talk to and an assistant that knows you.
Hands free means hands free
What you would actually use it for
- Logging a meal on the way out of a restaurant, before you forget what you ordered
- Capturing the thing you thought of in the shower, while it is still in your head
- Asking what is left in a budget category before you commit to a purchase
- Talking through a decision and having the conclusion saved rather than lost
Where it runs
Voice chat is on iPhone and on the web today. Android and macOS are in development and have no store listing yet.
Does it work without an internet connection?+
No. Voice chat needs a connection, because the model that answers you does not run on the device.
Can I use it while driving?+
Yes — that is one of the situations it was built for. It routes through CarPlay and Bluetooth so you never need to touch the phone.
What happens to what I say?+
It becomes part of your conversation history under your account, and the durable facts are extracted into your second brain. You can read and delete any of it. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Can I turn the memory extraction off?+
Yes. Data access is controlled per area in Settings, and anything already extracted can be deleted individually.
